KATO EMMANUEL

Hello fellow panelists am so glad to be part of this event and tank so much the organizers. My worry is about how disabled people have been left behind in the economic world. In the developing countries it is well know how discrimination is at a high rate and for the activitists who come out are instead changed the mind by the telling them how they can make money out of the disabled groups. As Emmanuel I started up an NGO to bring forward the disabled groups but many officers have really failed it, it’s called RIGHTS FOR THE VULNERABLE FOUNDATION in Uganda our contact is +256785506475 and our email is rights4vulnerable@gmail.com any one can contact us and we join handsI my self am a disabled man who wants to work with my fellow disabled people

(Question from the floor) Innovations are backed up by the resources. In low income countries, prototypes gains popularities but could not be promoted due to the unavailability of sufficient resources. How this issue could be sorted or is WIPO looking on this aspects to improve in LICs?

In this screen reader-friendly radar you can find besides a technology readiness level of emerging technology also a description of them, and a list of the patent documents we identified related to each of these emerging technologies. you can filter the results by invasive and non-invasive, as we heard the distinction from Mr. Leblois earlier https://www.wipo.int/tech_trends/en/assistive_technology/visualization.html
