(thank you for the brief description of TTC in Japan, it clarifies me a few things)

01:00:50
(just a late side comment to TTC Telecom. Tech. Commitee of Japan; there is also a 'TTC' Trade Tech Council EU-US with a WG1 'Standards' with some activity in semiconductors, and probably 6G, and a little automobile vertical; it is interesting to see that the automotive communications are an important focus in TTC Japan, and also are a little component in TTC EU-US)

01:02:31
(a little side comment to the presentation given by Mr. F. Fischer: I wonder how the risks of attention loss during driving potentially provoked by overuse of multimedia, is taken into account).

01:17:38
A question to the current presentation of C-V2X promotion in China: can it be said something about the radio spectrum situation in China, spectrum dedicated to C-V2X, LTE-V2X, NR-V2X? Has spectrum been allocated to LTE-V2X in China? Because in Europe there is currently no spectrum for NR-V2X as far as I know, and in US there seems to be, by my evaluation of early 2022.

Why does the physical transporation box distinguish different types of data? I would have expected to distinguish different physical Transportation means.

02:44:39
OK

02:48:31
Hi everyone.

02:48:41
Greetings from UNECE

02:50:25
Hi Hans, I understand your comment and agree the phys transportation big box as it is depicted now might confuse. Data is obviously originated from there but the organization of the box might be improved. The current intention was to distinguish between purely transport infra elements and other elements which cannot be qualified as transport infra elements. I note your point and will consider it in next related diiscussions of SG20. Thanks.

Question for Bill: any planned work on user interface for ALKS?

04:46:40
Le MAns is not far from here...

04:49:24
Thanks, Bill. I should have been clearer. I meant ALKS (SAE L3, UN-R157). I think in your answer you referred to SAE L2. We're working with UK Gov on some public comms to prepare for the potential rollout of ALKS in UK, and have been asked if there's a standardised user interface (to our knowledge there is none).

04:56:28
(SAE: for information, I took the note about the SAE J3194 'micromobilty' and mentioned it to the morning announced effort at IETF on the IPWAVE WG: the IPMON BoF of IETF https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/msg/its/EbMrHKYKh-w8Qt5QOnN_zl2imz4/).

04:58:38
David, I hope you grant me license to use the nomenclature "masquerading" when referring to capability exaggeration from SAE Level 2 to 3...that is quite suitable! Thank you for the comment. I'll follow up on what SAE members may have on the HMI.

05:00:18
Granted! But I don't think that one manufacturer you mentioned (that is currently under investigation in the US) will be too happy.

05:05:36
I will leave for another meeting, see you

05:09:38
For the 802.11bd presentation: RFC 8691 "IPv6 over OCB" might be an upper layer over BD, as much as 1609 is, so might need to run bd drafts to IPWAVE WG too (in addition to running it to IEEE 1609).
