Historically-speaking the work in ITS had also started in the FPLMTS work in TG8/1.

Is the LS a final document or an ongoing document? The LS on IETF seems to still have changes tracked visible

The latest version of the Working Document could be made available to CITS (during this meeting) however the LS was including a previous version of the same WD. The work is still ongoing and will be concluded later this year

This J3224 'sensor sharing' looks as a promising opportunity for communicating data over IP between vehicles. It would need maybe a higher bandwidth. I could dream about sending lidar raw data on 10Gbit/s between cars.

Thank you for mentioning 5GAA. It is indeed natural that IPv6 will be the right way to go when C-V2X is implemented. We are not working directly on this issue but I could raise the question if needed.
